Marysol Patton is a current recurring cast member and former main cast member on The Real Housewives of Miami.
Casting[]
Patton made up one of the six original cast members in the first season of The Real Housewives of Miami. She continued in a main capacity during the shows second season too. However, ahead of the third season, it was announced that Patton had been demoted to a recurring role (as a ‘Friend of the Housewives’). The reason given for the demotion was that they needed to focus on a fewer number of ‘Housewives’ as they went from seven main stars to five main stars between the second and third seasons.
The show was cancelled after the conclusion of the third season but revived later, after an eight year gap, for a fourth season. Patton continued in the same role that she had left, in a recurring capacity as a ‘Friend, and has continued with this status ever since - for the shows fifth and sixth seasons.
She also appeared as an "All Star" in The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip; during its third season which was filmed in Thailand. Patton was joined by Alexia Echevarria as they represented the Miami installment of The Real Housewives franchise and they were joined by six other ‘Housewives’ from four other American installments.
